The Glory of Rome, which housed guests for Caesars and the Horseshoe until December of 2019, set sail for a new home Tuesday.

The largest riverboat in the world departed around 8:30 a.m. with new owner Caribe Venture of Orange Beach, Alabama.

Since 1998, Glory of Rome, sitting at 450 feet long and 100 feet wide, would set sail for hourlong trips with guests receiving a ticket to board. It stopped sailing in 2001. Caesars Entertainment unveiled a new land-based casino — now known as Caesars Southern Indiana — in Harrison County, Indiana, in December.
